xterm

The xterm license can be found in the COPYING file in the source repository.

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module: 

eb <easyconfig> -r
To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider xterm/<version>.

Note that in newer toolchains xterm is now part of the pre-installed X11 modules.

This EasyConfig provides an xterm for those users who want to run xterm outside the container of lumi-vnc.

EasyBuild

  • There is no active support in the EasyBuilders repository (there was some in the past)

  • There is no support in the CSCS repository

  • Spack package for xterm (quite a few versions behind when this easyconfig was first developed).

Version 372j for 22.06, 22.08

  • EasyConfig based on a long deprecated EasyBuilders one.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additonal easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
