URANOS

License information

URANOS is distributed under a 3-clause BSD license. The license can be found in the LICENSE file in the URANOS GitHub repository.

After loading and installing the module, the license file can also be found in $EBROOTURANOS/share/licenses/URANOS.

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module:

eb <easyconfig> -r

To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider URANOS/<version>.

EasyConfig:

• EasyConfig URANOS-20260515-cpeAOCC-25.03.eb, will build URANOS/20260515-cpeAOCC-25.03

• EasyConfig URANOS-20260515-cpeCray-25.03-rocm.eb, will build URANOS/20260515-cpeCray-25.03-rocm

  GPU version. Performance is known to be relatively poor on AMD GPUs compared to NVIDIA GPUs. The code is not yet as well optimised as it is for NVIDIA GPUs.

• EasyConfig URANOS-20260515-cpeCray-25.03.eb, will build URANOS/20260515-cpeCray-25.03

• EasyConfig URANOS-20260515-cpeGNU-25.03.eb, will build URANOS/20260515-cpeGNU-25.03

  There are currently no releases, so we take a specific commit and use the date of that commit as the version.

EasyBuild

This is research code and there is no support for it in the classical installation tools for HPC software.
