License information

OpenPGM is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License.

The license information can also be found in the COPYING file in the $EBROOTOPENPGM/share/licenses/OpenPGM directory after installing and loading the module.

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module:

eb <easyconfig> -r

To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider OpenPGM/<version>.

OpenPGM on Google code
There are some newer releases on a GitHub site that claims to be an automatic export of the Google Code site.

In fact, Fedora offers the newer 5.3.128 release, but Red Hat enterprise versions still offer 5.2.122. So we decided to stick to that version, as is also done in the EasyBuilders repsository.

EasyBuild

Version 5.2.122 for CPE 22.08 and later

Based on the EasyBuilders easyconfig
Added license information to the 24.03 version in May 2025.
For 26.03, a cpeCray version was added and the sanity checks were improved.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additional easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
