License information

The Mesa distribution consists of several components. Different copyrights and licenses apply to different components. More information is available on the "License and Copyright" page in the Mesa documentation.

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module:

eb <easyconfig> -r

To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider Mesa/<version>.

EasyConfig:

• EasyConfig Mesa-22.2.1-cpeGNU-22.08.eb, will build Mesa/22.2.1-cpeGNU-22.08

EasyBuild

• Mesa support in the EasyBuilders repository

  Mesa is installed through a custonm EasyBlock.

Version 22.2.1 for cpeGNU/22.08

• The EasyConfig is a direct port of the EasyBuilders one for the GCCcore toolchain, replacing:

  • Some dependencies that are in buildtools. Note that since it includes Meson, a different variant of buildtools will be needed as we are moving out some Pythhon stuff that causes problems with other packages.

  • libdrm as we have it in the X11 module.
