libxsmm

License information

Libxsmm is licensed under the BSD 3-Clause License, see the "BSD 3-Clause License" page in the documentation or the LICENSE.md file in the GitHub repository.

After installing and loading the module, the license can also be found in $EBROOTLIBXSMM/share/licenses/libxsmm (since the 25.03 toolchains).

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module: 

eb <easyconfig> -r
To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider libxsmm/<version>.

EasyBuild

libxsmm 1.17 for cpeGNU 21.08 and later

  • The EasyConfig is a direct port of the CSCS one.

  • Added license info for the 25.03 and later versions.

  • Switched to EB6-compatible parameters for 26.03.

libxsmm 29Dec22 for CPE 22.08 and later

  • Created for PyFR as it requires a recent version of libxsmm but no release exists. Use the date of the commit as the version.

libxsmm 2.0.0 for 26.03

  • The EasyConfig is a remake of the one for 1.17, now using a CMake build process.

  • Options used are based on the build recipe for CP2K 2026.2, but we generate both static and shared libraries as before.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additional easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
