Libvorbis is licensed under a 3-Clause BSD License. See the COPYING file in the source repository for more information.

From LUMI/23.12 onwards, the COPYING file can also be found in the $EBROOTLIBVORBIS/share/licenses/libvorbis subdirectory after loading the module.

General information

• libvorbis needs libogg.

• libvorbis has a configure - make - make install build process.

EasyConfig

• libvorbis support in the EasyBuilders repository

• There is no support for libvorbis in the CSCS repository

Version 1.3.7 from CPE 21.06 on

• The EasyConfig is a combination of the EasyBuilders one and the University of Antwerpen one which predates the EasyBuilders one.

• From LUMI/23.12 onwards, license information was added to the installation and the sanity checks were improved.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additonal easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
