libunistring

License information

The libunistring library and its header files are dual-licensed under "the GNU LGPLv3+ or the GNU GPLv2+". This means, you can use it under either - the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 3 or (at your option) any later version, or - the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or (at your option) any later version, or - the same dual license "the GNU LGPLv3+ or the GNU GPLv2+".

See the README file in the source repository for general information, and the COPYING and COPYING.LIB files in the same repository for the specific license texts.

From LUMI/23.12 on, these files can also be found in the $EBROOTLIBUNISTRING/sghare/licenses/libunistring subdirectory after loading the module.

Pre-installed modules (and EasyConfigs)

To access module help and find out for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider libunistring/<version>.

  • The EasyConfig file is a simple adaptation of the one in use at University of Antwerpen which itself is a variant from the one in the EasyBuilders repository.

  • Trivial update of the EasyConfig file.

  • Trivial update of the EasyConfig file for 1.0.

  • For LUMI/23.12, license information was added to the installation.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additonal easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
