Technical documentation
Downloads unreliable
Due to anti-scraping software being used, downloads from gitlab.kitware.com,
where the sources of this package are located, are unreliable and often
return an HTML document explaining that such technology is being used.
Therefore we keep a copy of the sources in /appl/lumi/extra-easybuild-sources
which EasyBuild should search for automatically before attempting a download
that may return the wrong file.
Catalyst is an in situ visualization framework created as part of ParaView.
EasyBuild
-
There is no support for Catalyst in the EasyBuilders repository.
Version 2.0.0 for cpeGNU/24.03 and 25.03
- The EasyConfig is derived from the JSC ones with changes for LUMI.
Not sure if the Python integration works...
We could not test due to lack of proper documentation, but something we would expect would work, does not.
Version 2.1.0 for 26.03
- The EasyConfig is a direct port of the one for 2.0.0 for 25.03, but we switched to the EB6-compatible EasyConfig parameters.
